DuckDuckGo has been managing more than 2 billion search queries a month, according to the search engine’s traffic page. In December last year, search giant ran over an average of 79.3 million searches a day, which is very impressive. Some of these search responses are called Instance Answers, which appear on the top of the page, and it does not require users to click on a link to find the answers they are looking for.

“People are coming to us because they want more privacy, and it’s generally spreading through word of mouth, People are looking for alternatives to the surveillance-tech business model.” Kamyl Bazbaz, DuckDuckGo vice president of communications, told USA TODAY.

Considering the fact that people are coming to the search engine spreading through word of mouth, and since it is not the default search platform for any devices, the company has gained very impressive growth over the past years and it keeps going up.

DuckDuckGo is available for mobile devices through App Store for iOSAndroid, and Google Chrome extensions.
