Microsoft Surface Duo was initially released in the US in August 2020, and according to the company’s blog, the tech giant is planning to make its way to other countries in early 2021, starting with Canada, France, Germany, and the UK. More information to follow at the beginning of 2021.
Surface Duo has a design that helps developers to build their apps uniquely, and users can experience third-party apps across two screens. At the launch, Microsoft showed Spotify, Amazon’s Kindle app, and now TikTok has released an enhanced app that brings an entirely new experience. This release allows users to watch videos while exploring relevant hashtags, searching videos, and more.
Microsoft also mentioned, “We love hearing from you and working with you to chart the course for Surface Duo. As we reflect on this past year and look ahead to the next, we see even more opportunity, and we’re excited to see how you bring your own experiences to life with Surface Duo.”
