At WWDC 2020 in June, Apple announced its first custom made Apple silicon processors (M1 chip) in Macs with outstanding performance. Apple released its Mac mini, MacBook Air last month with the M1 chip, including a new 13-inch MacBook Pro.
Apple recently shared a list of popular apps optimized for Macs with the new M1 chip.
“Macs with the new Apple M1 chip offer unprecedented performance, and developers can optimize their apps for the M1 to deliver game-changing speed and capabilities.” says apple.
The list includes apps like Pixelmator Pro, iA Writer, Logoist 4, Twitter, and Xcode.
According to MacRumors, Apple’s new chip is so impressive that the base model MacBook Air outperforms a maxed-out Intel-based 16-inch MacBook Pro.
