CD Projekt Red apologizes to the gamers and offers a refund for Cyberpunk 2077

CD Projekt Red apologizes to the gamers in a tweet for not showing Cyberpunk 2077 on last-gen consoles before it premiered and claims they should have paid more attention to making it play better on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The team plans to fix bugs and crashes and improve the game quality to make the game experience closer to what looks like running on a high-end PC or next-gen console, and they also mentioned their game update plans in the notice.

CD Projekt Red has released the first round of updates, and another one is coming within the next week. Hotfix V1.04 fixed some major bugs on-base last-gen consoles, and the team is planning to release two large patches starting with patch one in January.

It will be followed by patch 2 in February, and the team says together, these will fix the most prominent problems gamers are facing on last-gen consoles.

Finally, the team mentioned, “We would like everyone who buys our games to be satisfied with their purchase. We would appreciate it if you would give us a chance, but if you are not pleased with the game on your console and don’t want to wait for updates, you can opt to refund your copy. For copies purchase digitally, please use the refund system of PSN or Xbox respectively. For boxed versions, please first try to get a refund at the store where you bought the game. Should this not be possible, please contact us at [email protected] and we will do our best to help you.

Cyberpunk also says gamers can contact them for a week up until the 21st of Dec 2020.
