Howdy, tech-readers, it seems Microsoft’s new foldable phone may miss the most wanted feature and that is a bummer.
We all know that back in last year Microsoft was able to reveal to us their new upcoming android smartphone which is foldable and that’s amazing. However, there are many competitors for that specific market out there and some companies failed trying to make foldable phones but this time it seems quite promising.
The good news is upcoming smartphone specs have been leaked and as far as I am concerned it comes with bad news as well.
According to the report, Surface Duo will have two 5.6-inch AMOLED displays (Surface Pen supported) along with 1800×1350 resolution and powered by Android 10 OS. The report also mentions phone will have Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 which is a comparatively old processor but that can be forgiven. What worries me the most is the 3,460mAh battery powering dual displays. However, The report says the battery will get you through the day.
One of the interesting features I see is the device can be rotated 360-degrees. This is unique. The device will have 64GB and 256GB storage option for the buyer along with 6GB RAM. The device will have an 11-megapixel camera, a fingerprint sensor for authentication, a USB Type-C port, and a Nano-SIM slot.
Microsoft hasn’t officially revealed specifications for their new device although Microsoft Surface Duo is set to release this year, let’s hope we will see this beauty soon.
Stay tuned and stay safe, ya’ll
